SoundsGood is operated by SOUNDSGOODAPP LIMITED, trading as SoundsGood, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17151974). Registered office: 30 Arundel Grove, York, England, YO24 2RZ. Correspondence address: 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ, United Kingdom. Contact us at SoundsGoodOfficial@proton.me. Privacy enquiries: SoundsGoodOfficial@proton.me.
These terms apply when you register or buy a subscription. You must be at least 16 and have legal capacity to enter the contract. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer protections available where you live.
2. The service
SoundsGood provides place discovery, swiping, city-organised liked places, notes, visited markers and manual day planning. A verified account and an active subscription are required for paid features. Social features allow users to share profiles and trips and collaborate in groups.
We provide planning information, not bookings, travel insurance or a travel agency service. Third-party information can change. Check venue hours, accessibility, prices, entry requirements and official safety advice before travelling.
3. Prices, payments and renewal
The price, currency, payment frequency and any first-payment discount are shown before purchase. Stripe processes payments. Monthly plans renew monthly and annual plans renew annually until cancelled. Annual plans are charged for the full year in advance.
We will not increase the price during a period already paid for. Before a future renewal price changes, we will give at least 30 days notice of the new price and renewal date so you can stop renewal before the charge.
4. Cancellation and refunds
To stop future renewal, use Cancel Subscription in your subscription dashboard or email support with your account details. Ordinary cancellation stops future renewal and keeps access until the paid period ends.
UK and EU consumers normally have 14 days from entering the subscription contract to notify us of cooling-off cancellation. Email support with a clear cancellation statement. The optional model form is provided below and on our public Contact page. No sign-in, active subscription or specific form is required to exercise a statutory right.
Cooling-off cancellation is different from stopping renewal. We assess requests under applicable consumer law and process refunds due within the statutory deadline, normally 14 days after cancellation, using the original payment method without a refund fee. Using the app does not by itself waive cancellation rights. We do not rely on an automatic waiver when you sign up.
Statutory remedies for a faulty, misdescribed or improperly supplied service remain available outside the cooling-off period. Deleting an account is not a refund request and does not remove statutory rights. Manage Apple subscriptions and refund requests through Apple; mandatory rights still apply.
5. Your account and privacy
Provide accurate registration details, protect your password and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised access. You are not automatically responsible for activity caused by our failure to protect your account.
Our Privacy Policy explains personal information use, sharing, retention and rights. Optional email notifications are off by default. Verification, password reset and necessary billing notices are service communications.
6. Content, safety and complaints
Do not post illegal material, threats, harassment, scams, child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, terrorist content or material infringing another person’s rights. Pornography and content encouraging suicide, self-harm or eating disorders are prohibited. Do not publish others’ private information without a lawful basis.
Report a user in the app, or email support with the subject Safety report. The public Contact page gives reporting instructions without requiring an account or subscription. Identify the content or user and explain the concern. Do not download, copy or email suspected child sexual abuse material. Contact local emergency services for immediate danger.
We review reports, prioritise urgent risks and consider context, privacy and lawful freedom of expression. Proportionate action can include removing content, restricting visibility, warning, suspending or removing an account. We may act immediately for safety or legal reasons and explain decisions where safe and lawful.
To challenge a content or account decision, email support with the subject Moderation appeal. To complain about report handling, use Safety complaint. Identify the decision and explain your concern. We review it and explain the outcome unless disclosure would be unlawful or create a safety risk. No paid account is required. Instructions are on our public Contact page.
7. Intellectual property and third parties
We and our licensors retain rights in the service, which you may use for personal travel planning. You retain rights in your content and grant a non-exclusive licence to store, display and process it only as needed for the features you choose and legal obligations. Share only content you have the right to share.
Google Maps and Places content is subject to Google Maps Platform terms and attribution requirements. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy information. We remain responsible for our own obligations to you.
8. Our responsibility to you
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill and honour its description and pre-purchase commitments. You retain rights to correction, repeat performance, a price reduction, refund or other remedy where applicable.
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage resulting from our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or business losses from a service supplied for personal purposes, except where applicable law requires otherwise. You are not required to indemnify us for our own fault.
9. Changes and ending the service
We may make reasonable technical, security or legally required changes. We will give reasonable notice of a material reduction in paid features unless an urgent legal or security reason prevents this. If a material change disadvantages you, you may end the affected service and request a proportionate refund for unused prepaid service.
We may restrict an account for serious or repeated breaches, suspected fraud, security threats or legal requirements. Where safe and lawful, we explain the reason and appeal process. If we discontinue paid service for reasons not caused by your breach, we give reasonable notice and refund unused prepaid service.
Changes to these terms apply to future contracts or renewals after notice. Continued use alone does not remove rights under an existing paid contract. We notify material changes with enough time to stop renewal.
10. Complaints and governing law
Send billing, cancellation and service complaints to SoundsGoodOfficial@proton.me. We investigate and respond. If a dispute remains unresolved, we explain relevant alternative dispute resolution information and whether we will participate. We do not claim membership of an ADR scheme. You need not wait 30 days before exercising legal rights.
The law of England and Wales applies, subject to mandatory consumer protections where you live. You may use any court available under applicable consumer law or contact a regulator. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue where legally possible.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal in your subscription dashboard keeps access until the paid period ends. For cooling-off cancellation or a service-problem refund, email SoundsGoodOfficial@proton.me. No sign-in or active subscription is required.
UK and EU consumers normally have 14 days from entering the contract to notify us of cooling-off cancellation. Include your account email or order reference and a clear statement that you wish to cancel. We assess requests under applicable law and process refunds due within the statutory deadline, normally 14 days after cancellation. Using the app does not by itself waive these rights. Other statutory remedies remain available outside this period.
The form is optional. Downloading it does not submit a request: send it by email or post to the address on the form, or use any other clear cancellation statement.
